Recently, a collaboration has been established between the Hebei International Industrial Design Week and Asia Design Week, marked by the formal signing of a cooperation agreement. This partnership is anticipated to create a synergy that exceeds the sum of its parts, enhancing the influence of both events on an international scale. Through this collaboration, the two design weeks aim to significantly boost their visibility and impact, positioning themselves as a crucial driving force in the development of the design industry in China and across Asia. We look forward to the continued brilliance of the Hebei International Industrial Design Week and Asia Design Week in the future.
Hebei International Industrial Design Week
The Hebei International Industrial Design Week, hosted by the People's Government of Hebei Province and co-organized by the Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Xiong'an New Area Administrative Committee, and the Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center, is a key international and professional event. It aims to gather global design innovation resources, support the development of Xiong'an New Area, and empower the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing in Hebei Province.
To date, the Hebei International Industrial Design Week has showcased over 17,000 domestic and international design masterpieces, attracted more than 170,000 on-site visitors, and garnered over 63 million online participants for live streams and virtual exhibitions. Since 2019, it has been featured five times on CCTV-1's Evening News and CCTV's News Broadcast, sparking significant attention and enthusiastic responses from various sectors of society.
The Design Week has become a prominent industrial design event in China, serving as a crucial platform and window for international design exchange and cooperation for Xiong'an New Area, Hebei Province, and the nation.
Asia Design
Asia Design Week (ADW), organized by the Asia Design Week Committee, is an international design exhibition and event held annually at the end of the year. Its mission is to foster exchange and development in the fields of art and design across Asia. The committee is responsible for organizing Asia Design Week, art and design exhibitions, and professional competitions.
In 2023, Asia Design Week hosted the "2023 Asia Emerging Art and Design Exchange Exhibition" at the ASEAN International Convention Center, highlighting its commitment to the development of Asia's cultural and creative industries. The exhibition featured works from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Vietnam, as well as entries from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Finland, and Italy, making it a truly international event.

Submission Guidelines
Please refer to the announcement of the 2024 Asia New Talent Art and Design Competition. Award-winning works will be selected from the industrial design category submissions of this competition for exhibition. Additionally, some outstanding works from other categories will also be selected for exhibition. (Register via the link provided to fill out the application form).
